PAM (Precision Adder & Multiple)

PAM is a precision adder and buffered multiple for accurate sending of pitch signals from a sequencer to multiple oscillators or sound sources.

PAM outputs two buffered multiples of the input pitch, an inverted output for providing CV for filter tracking, and two octave shifting outputs of +1V (an octave higher) or -1V (an octave lower).

PAM is pitch accurate to 2/3 cents and is suitable for microtonal tuning and working with microtonal tuning systems that repeat within a one octave range (scales, makams).

  • 2HP Eurorack Format

  • Input Impedance ~ 1M, Output Impedance ~ 300 Ohm

  • DC coupled

  • Reverse polarity and overcurrent protected

  • Skiff friendly

  • +12V 6.8mA, -12V 6.0mA

CAT (Capacitive Touch Switch)

CAT is a capacitive touch switch module for adding touch elements to synthesis performance. Two capacitive touch sensors output momentary +5V trigger or latched gate signals at outputs sA and sB, with LED indication.

The output of sensor A is normalled to a JFET soft changeover switch which allows for clickless, noise free switching of pitch, control voltage or audio signals on inputs X and Y. The JFET switch can also be controlled by an external Gate or CV signal for synced switching or crossfade type effects, available independently of the touch sensor outputs, or, if no signal is patched to input Y, can be used as a mute switch with an “offness” of ~ 100dB.

CAT is also pitch accurate to 2/3 cents and is suitable for working with microtonal tuning systems.
